youtube.com— A terrific, scathing criticism of Mainstream Media news from the one man who's seen it from the front lines. A must-see.

That's just it bluebeetle, they have to make s**t happen and make it important (even when it isn't) because they have to fill 24 hours a day. We don't have enough news to fill up every day of the week, all day long. Maybe if they cut back on all the commentary, punditry, drama and just reported factual news about things that mean something (believe me, what Lindsay Lohan does is NOT important), then we would actually get news. But see, this is about profit, selling ad space, and keeping you glued to the set, not about actual reporting. As an example, at universities now, and advertising degree is tied into journalism majors. I'm not making that up. Ask yourself, WTF does advertising have to do with journalism?News is not supposed to be artificially exciting all the time, and the MSM makes it that way, because as my father once said, "Watching the news today is better than watching made-up shows." It should not be like that.
lazer: the corporation uses their influence to influence popular opinion and whatnot, but to make a profit. Murdoch has a vision to use news and entertainment to change public perception, and help out his fellow NWO type friends, while making massive profits in the meantime. And about half of american households own stock. obviously they have no influence on the way the company works, but everyone who owns it makes some of the profits, most of the time, if the company does good....
Wow. That John Stewart vs Crossfire clip was amazing. Much respect for Stewart. The sad thing is that even if those two CNN guys agreed and said "You're right" nothing would happen other than them losing their jobs and being replaced during a comercial break.God help America.
