Um... No. We are not like that ColonelJessup. Obviously, no one wants a criminal and/or mentally unstable individual to have a weapon of any kind. But for the rest of the population, the second amendment applies. Firearm enthusiasts advocate safe, sane, and responsible ownership/usage. We're not an exclusive "club", everyone's invited to the party! (except wackos and bad guys).Although serious, ownership and going to the range for example, is a lot of fun. I've introduced many people to the world of firearms, taught them how to safely handle one, and how to shoot. I've even convinced a couple of very anti-gun individuals to come to the range. They ended up having a great time! Once they saw how it really is, their mindset and feelings towards guns changed. Heh, before the range trip they had a lot of misconceptions in regards to gun owners. After the session, they realized we are not a bunch of mouth breathing, knuckle dragging cavemen and cavewomen. We're good people that love freedom, and the more shooters at the firing line... the better!
