I can't understand why are you getting upset about this guy's setup. It's nothing crazy, I expected god-knows-what judging by the comments - just two 30" ACDs and two G5 machines, plus bigger than average HDD storage (and that too is nothing special). Tons of people working in graphics / creative field got similar setups. What's more important, that setup probably payed for itself very quickly. I agree that it might be an overkill for photo editing, but if that system gives him even just few minutes per day shorter load times etc., and if he can afford it - what's wrong with that? People buy Core 2 Duos for web browsing and text editing, while PII would suffice, IMHO that's much more outrageous than this.Hell, if you hang around on various hardware forums you'll see lot of people with Intel Quad processors, 2x 8800GTX in SLI, 4x Raptors in RAID0 and 30" displays and all they do is play FPS on such systems, and they even didn't bought it with their own money, their rich dads did. Nobody seems to get worked out about that.Yes, his photos mostly look bad, but he's got top clients who will pay for those photos - I can only say more kudos to him.Besides, that setup is really nothing special, when I read comments I expected some super computer. If you want to see heavy setup take a look at this guy's office:http://www.stefandidak.com/office/
That's a whole lotta conflict for nothing but a setup that I liked.btw, this was not a self-promoting post, s**t-for-brains; I'd never heard of the guy before I submitted this..

@piwyNot talking about blacking out, talking about color shift. two different things, and *all* LCD's despite angle of view have a color shift.
