blog.lobby4linux.com— Want to know how to fight DRM? Purchase a number of DRM'ed disks, then walk out the door then back in and return the merchandise, it would cause havoc in the retail world for that day.

I don't think so. The RIAA and the MPAA say that sales have been reduced because of piracy. They see no cause and effect of DRM reducing sales and would argue that it enhances the experience (Sony said as much about their rootkits).
Your perception skills are as unoriginal as your namecalling abilities. You are one of the masses that will cry foul long after MS and the Hardware Cartel leaves their seed deep in your arse. Such blindness is refreshing...a sucker waiting for his mark. what a moron...
Summary of comments above:Do it or not....it is YOUR choice. Organizing it is illegal....returning is not illegal, but your right as consumers. If you accidentally buy DRM CD, be sure to mention that you are returning it BECAUSE of the DRM.And July 4th is just a holiday and this event is NOT happening on 07/01/2006 between 11am-2pm CST.People are doing this so retailers will realize how much it hurts to carry DRM items and that message will be passed on to **AA's and if not who cares?!?!?! it will be fun just doing it. So don't knock it....if you are going to accidentally purchase CDs...go right ahead, if you are not, then just do what you want that day.I for one will NOT be doing this (wink) and I think if enough people NOT do this, it will be on the news and maybe become the modern day "Boston Tea Party".
