well, if you were able to read on the first page of the website then you won't be whining like this! problem is you are in a hurry to get your FREE CREDIT REPORT without any delay and not reading on the TERMS AND CONDITIONS stated CLEARLY on the website....good for you! goodluck!!!
I don't see how this got almost 3000 diggs. I Can use anualcreditreport once a year and then if i need another for FREE i can go to freecreditreport.com, just cancel before the 30 days are up and if i need another one in a month or so, i'll sign up again and cancel again... don't see a scam there it is all clearly posted on their site, this has been burried bt me!
I was wondering what the strategy was behind the whole concept and now I understand. They call it "Free" but the reality is the auto monthly draft that "You" have to undo. Slick!!

There's another site I've run across which offers "free" credit reports http://www.freebiecreditreport.com - credit reports and scores from there aren't as free as you might think.

i find it incredibly funny that if you do a search on digg for "freecreditreport" this article does not appear in the results. even if you keep the search just for 2007, http://digg.com/search?s=freecreditreport&sort ...coincidence? or a way to make sure whomever was being pitched to sponsor digg dialogg couldn't find it? or a way to make it disappear after they signed the contract? either way, it made me chuckle.
