He got to choose the records ahead of time, choose the points for them to start, and they didn't play very long. Easy.If you can't do that in Traktor or whatever, you need to learn your tunes better.
Just by sheer coincidence they all happen to be at the same speed? Notice he just has to speed up/down with the finger after he throws in each new beat - this means that all the pitches have already been setup for this video ;)
lol.. that really takes me back man. I remember saving money for so long and buying one deck at a time, too. DJing is sooo freaking expensive. If you're just getting started I would highly reccomend The Shiggar Friggar Show or Skratch Taktikz from the Skratch Piklz.. those are the kinds of peeps you want to learn from.
actually there are two sl-1200s and a mixer sitting in front of me right now, I never said the video was necessarily the best example of turntablism, but it is a good example of the different things you can do with music. I don't understand why you have such a negative attitude, obviously you are a DJ and i am a DJ. Just remember it's all about the music...
