instructables.com— A nice tutorial explaining how you can easily build an "USB Cooling Fan" for your notebook/desktop/whatever from an old or broken cd-rom drive. Nothing of really special but definitely a Must See.

I don't really see what the big mystery is... obviously, English is not the submitter/video creator's first language. Get over it, folks. Not everyone is American, and not everyone speaks English as fluently as you do.
Does anyone here think this is not dangerous? Not only could the sharp edges of the cd cut your fingers, the cork (after a month of use) could deteriorate and then you have sharp, flying bits of cd ready to pierce you skin, superglue or not. Good idea, bad implementation; and the thing makes a hellava lotta noise.
dont know about any one else but i dont want that thing any where near my laptop i like it not having any scratches on it which will happen when that thing starts to fly apart

Surprised this wasn't titled as a 'Cork Hack'.Seems very save to have sharp plastic bits whirling near my face.
