huffingtonpost.com — There appears to be a pretty big gap between what DC journalists think Americans think, and what Americans actually think. No better example of this can be found than the "winners" and "losers" that DC media are proclaiming in the wake of the passage of the stimulus bill, and what DailyKos/Research 2000 polling on the subject indicates.

Wow, the Democrat-controlled Congress still has lower approval ratings than Bush.

Of course they were obstructionists. What the hell would you call it? Did you see what the CBO was calling for? MUCH more spending, as were pretty much all economists. You can't just make up your own economics in the bathtub at night.

I honestly feel that many reporters in the MSM are receiving payment or kickbacks to report certain views in their writing to the public. Newspapers do not seem to act freely or ethically.

Major media are partisan to the left, this is the reason they are losing sales in their papers and having to lay off people in their offices. At a time when there were real journalists these people had integrety and they wanted to keep the American people informed of what their elected officials were doing in Washington, their cities, etc. We don't see that anymore. With this last election the media has shown that it will not say anythign negative at all about the democrats. They refused to research Barack Obama, Rahm Emanuel, Timothy Geithner, John Edwards, etc. The only party they raced to discredit was the Republican party and the American people soon realized that is what was going on. I have been forced to watch Fox News and C-SPAN if I want to get the actual facts about someone in the government. I have discovered that the Fox News Channel is not partisan to the Republicans or the Democrats and I can understand why they are the top rated news channel out of NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, etc. It is interesting to hear the different takes on stories after hearing the media and then listening to Fox or watching C-SPAN for actual events and 9/10 times the media are trying to dance around anything about Democrats so we don't know the truth. I am ashamed of what this media has become and I am now happy they are going out of business. If they showed some journalistic intergrety maybe they would see actual profits in their business and maybe they could be renewed as the year the media became truthful and bipartisan.

FOX NEWS delivers unbiased and honest news. I know this from watching MSNBC, Fox News, C-SPAN to make sure that what Fox is reporting and MSNBC are reporting are true. If you watch C-SPAN which shows what is going on at the moment in congress and the senate you know for a fact what is truth and what isn't. Fox News is the most honest.

This isn't going to bite the GOP in the butt because they are the only party in Washington at this moment (not saying during Bush's term, but at this moment) who are actually trying to stand up for the American people and not put us into a socialistic environment. They wanted to read the bill that the dems promised could be viewed by American people 48 hours before being voted on...it was put on the internet for the American people to see after midnight on 2/13/2009 and voted on within hours that day (maybe dems don't know how to tell time). They even forced a senator from Ohio who was at his mother's funeral to fly back to vote. SICK. I am so proud of the GOP representatives right now and I am putting my money on them to take back the congress and senate in 2010.
