IT looiks like a real life Etch-a-Sketch. and that part in the middle, which is presumably where he lives, it like when you go back and forth overand over again to clear enough of the silver stuff to be able to see the device underneath.
They sell GPS loggers for less than $100.00 USD.If you have a bluetooth GPS that pairs as a COM port you can log/parse the NMEA data.Also fun to use with NetStumbler to map open hotspots.
