hardocp.com — This new video showcases many new Crysis gameplay features and gives a very detailed look at the environments and outlines the story line as well. I think many companies are counting on Crysis as being “the” title to truly kick off DX10 and Windows Vista while being an exciting motivation for more enthusiasts to upgrade their hardware.

Those videos are based off the dx10 cards the developers at crytek have their hands on. and there is no emulation, they use m$'s dx10 sdk and have been for quite some time. quite simply, you'll need a dx10 card for this game if you want all the bells and whistles.

The problem with that is all your games will apparently take a serious performance hit if you do have vista, i've heard by as much as 20-25%.Because of Vistas memory and processor overhead that isn't surprising to me.So, damned if you do buy vists (get lower performance but you get DX10) and damned if you don't buy vista (get better performance but no DX10).

Half Life: A Scientist in a super suit saving the world from AN ALIEN INVASION. And apparently a guy in a suit and funky voice.
