"complete waste of [my] computer's resources"? Hey, at least i get some additional weather effects and some more motion blur! I guess thats worth to buy new hardware a new OS (which makes me even more dependent on a single company).
Its simple! My 8800GTX with 768mb DDR3 works perfectly on medium and the graphics are stunning. Its the Details and the appreciation for the time, effort and skills put into this eye blistering game.
if you want to run on high use asus 8800GT thats wat i use and xan get like 25-30 all maxed out i have 4GB and amd phanteom x4 and i can rrun very smoothly no lag or use 2 XFX 9600GT with prossecor minimun requirements and storage 12GB and i runs fine you change setting like shadow all that does is mess with the clouds shadows and you can live with out cloud shadow you need toi play abit but is worth it i finshed crysis and miss it waitting for 2 :) good look it good game 9.5/10 :)
you are right about that and crysis has massive maps and detail on call of duty 4 you can see the dead pixel on the players faces and my system CAN HADDLE CRYSIS MAXED OUT at 30-35 frames per sec i have 2 XFX 9600 GT so do't blame my pc crysis is the game of the year with Crysis is visually stunning, packed with intelligent, thrilling gameplay, and easily one of the greatest shooters ever made. so just mess with tunning thats asll like shadows look on youtube at people setting ask friends :)
Rev0lver and the price you pay for software and hardware to run this you was not in mind get pc that can run crysis no lag and on high like you can play all latest game so don't get something for cod 4 then upgrade for crysis get something that can run crysis and it run all lastest game GTA4,COD4,unreal tornement 2 so think before you but upgradeds ;)
