wired.com — If Texas congressman Ron Paul is elected president in 2008, he may be the first leader of the free world put into power with the help of a global network of hacked PCs spewing spam, according to computer-security researchers who've analyzed a recent flurry of e-mail supporting the long-shot Republican candidate.

Not to mention according to our constitution, it's not the government's job to regulate any businesses. They've been out of line for YEARS doing this... and If Comcast wants to filter all bittorrent traffic, let them. They should run their company however the hell they see fit. They are after all paying for the bandwidth that their users are using bittorrent and other p2p apps use a ton of bandwidth... they're trying to make it so that the rest of their customers don't feel the backlashes of idiots who don't cap their download speeds on any of those... Like with COX it's all shared bandwidth... so if you got a neighborhood full of idiots sucking movies and other s**t down 24/7.. other users are going to feel the negative effects of it. Educate yourself on why they're doing it before you come across as an idiot teenager who just wants to steal mp3s and other s**t all day haiduz.

I'm not so sure about that. Libertarians are kind of privacy-minded; what percentage of Ron Paul's support base do you think are users of Tor/Vidalia? How similar to a botnet attack would that look?

I've been seeing posts by these Paulbots for months now. Goddamnit, why is it just getting press now. They digg up stories, they comment on them, they spasm at criticism of that crank. When will it end?

Total neo-con chicanery... $4.2 million raised in one day by almost 40,000 individuals is spam? I donated to RP and that was because I realize he just might have a chance at winning with this kind of momentum. I'm in CA and changed my voter registration to Republican today so I can vote for him in the primary. Some states have this law, so get out and change your voting status beforehand. The paid-for establishment is really working overtime to try to make it look like the majority of Americans are for oppression, military aggression, intrusive government and the rest of the pack of lies they are selling. More and more people aren't buying it anymore and are coming together, right and left, to make a common stand for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The haters just expose themselves for what they usually are, paid-for shills .WHEN we get our country back, you will be held accountable in a court of law for your treasonous lies. Stop your disinfo campaign now before it is too late.
