forums.creative.com — We are aware that you have been assisting owners of our Creative sound cards for some time now, by providing unofficial driver packages for Vista that deliver more of the original functionality that was found in the equivalent XP packages for those sound cards. In principle we don't have a problem with you helping users in this way...

Creative's been a s**t company for years. Good support on one occasion doesn't erase what seems to be their entire business practice of bad support (at least in the consumer sound card area) Just look at their support forums.

BTW, who killed penny-arcade.com today? Is it just my firewall?

Seems Creative have the same idea about their support as we do!<a class="user" href="http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/9725/n5397425405455513862zc5.jpg">http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/9725/n539742540 ...</a>

Yep, shame on Microsoft for having a closed source proporitory Operating System and shame on them because most hardware doesn't work on Vista and you can't simply write your own code without some assh**e coming up behind you saying "It's not ok." Write software for 20 years and then come talk to me. Moron.

You are right, creative didn't have that many customers to begin with
