ifitsmovies.com — LucasFilms has teamed up with Eyespot.com to allow users to create their own "Star Wars" movie. On Friday, The official Star Wars website will relaunch with tons of new features. One of them will allow users to create their own "Star Wars" movie by choosing from over 250 scenes/musical selections as well as using their own home-made material.

Well allot will surely suck but I have a feeling allot will be MUCH BETTER directing skill than Lucas showed in the last 3!(He should have stuck to writing and had Spielburg etc direct for him instead)

I remember seeing the fat guy on Ebert and Roper talk about how he thought that the real potential for DVD (or the like) movies being that you could buy the movie, and then download a "fan" directors cut to watch it by. That is, you would download an edit file which would play the DVD in that (fan's) directors cut. I would really like to see this.
