ideafordell.com — I'm on a journey to try and meet Michael Dell himself, face-to-face to share with him an idea I have for changing the way we use computers. A simple idea I came up with during the course of my day-to-day duties as an IT-Janitor. Is it LAME to digg my own story, .,. I figured if I waited for you guys it was never gonna get DUGG... we'll see..

unless he attempts to patent it, how would he know the idea doesn't exist already and has already been considered and dropped by the PC industry.

Post it here if you care to share it with the world. (Be sure to get clearance from Dell before you do though.)

With only words, proof is impossible. You could attempt to convince better though with some of the following:1) Why Dell? The page you created effectively paints the most beautiful picture of a company that has obvious flaws which have been discussed in detail on Digg in the past. There are plenty of companies that have similar infrastructures to Dell. The page does not explain the reason why Dell was your preferred company and why no other company could possibly be suitable - which is why the most logical conclusion is that you are financially incented to promote Dell.2) Why not share it publicly? You claim that you have no financial incentives here, but you feel that it must remain a secret until you discuss this with Dell. These statements contradict each other.I feel like I'm falling into your trap of begging for your secret so you can implement step two which is to altruistically share your idea with the world and provide more marketing for Dell. I'll humor you though. Let's see what you've got.

I thought it was funny actually, it was meant to be humorous..I'll share my plan with ya by the end of the year if I dont hear anything from Mr Dell.

Two hours have passed, still no response. Does it take that long to get clearance from Dell regarding the wording of your next post? Is it too late to get approval from management today? I guess I'll check back tomorrow and see the strategy they came up with for you.

1) Dell is local. They are only a few hourse drive from me, and like I mention on my site I know someone that knows someone that knows him. If HP or Acer were right here in Dallas I could prob pull that off. Hell I guess I could approach Mark Cuban, he's a fellow tech-head from what I hear.2) Patience my friend, why would Dell want to meet me if he already knew the idea?Maybe I'll patent it after all and then tell ya about it and watch it fade into darkness like this post.

I know what the idea is. He is going to suggest that Mr. Dell when cutting the paychecks for his employees round down to the nearest penny and put all those fractions of cents in his own personal account. I think it's been done before though.

P.S. While all of your question this digg, it's surprising that no one has figured it out yet. He doesn't want to meet dell for the purpose of the idea, short of being mentally ill, that would just be off the wall. Anyone reading this knows that Dell isnt going to hear the idea and suddenly jump into action, anyone with the intelligence to come up with a brilliant idea would certainly know that's not how corporations work. He wants to meet dell to show that he could do it and in return he figures that dell would be at least impressed not so much with the idea but him and at the very least offer him a job in marketing or something, after all, I would say it would make for one hell of an interview process. Geez, grow up people and see things for what they are and Jose, certainly a great way to get a job at dell, bravo!

Kudos for the effort. However, the only thing missing from your emails is that you are a Barrister, and that your CONFIDENTIAL idea has NO RISK involved.See the problem with your method? Your enthusiastic wording goes directly against your credibility, if only due to similarities with scams. You might wish to re-think that tactic.Good luck, though! I eagerly await this great thing!

Once the crazy "Dude" kid decided to get stoned, arrested, then promptly fired, Dell's character went down the sh*tter. Their company image is about as cool as the family circus. They should just give up. LOL.
