legitreviews.com — Every seen a CPU Cooler uses multiple TECs (also called peltiers) to help chill the liquid coolant running through it? This eliminates the need for a radiator and increases thermal capacity and provides for faster heat absorption at the source. This thing cooled an Intel Core 2 Duo below air temperature during testing! (18C is damn cool for a CPU)

There's no way in hell a Peltier cooler is not going to put an enormous load on the PSU. They say it goes up to 125W Qmax, which means it will need about 300W of electrical power. Sorry, but TECs work that way.I'd say those "Total power consumption" graphs are a fake, or that person has no clue how to measure power. On the other hand, if someone offered me this cooler, I wouldn't lose a bad word about them either.

In this day and age of wild computer cooling solutions, this is extremely tame. Off the shelf water & pelt solution is for the lazy, not the crazy. Buried

shockingly, it appears the author is correcting his mistakes.

the TT Big Typhoon performs same to better and it only costs $50and OCZ is coming out with a 200$ phase change sometimes in the future.

My Thermalright Ultra 120 performs just about the same or better @ the 'Hardcore Overclocker' Speed.http://www.thermalright.com/a_page/main_product_ultra120.htm

@cmiller1Yep it would, but he'd still get let off purely for owning a P180. However still really bad to ruin the best case on the market by putting a cheap looking window in the side.On another note, my overclocked 3700 processor (@2.9ghz) runs at 22 degrees (idle) with a regular air cooler in my P180, why would i switch to a TEC/Water cpu cooler that costs a ton. Makes no sense :)
