West Pittsburg is an area a bit to the north of Walnut Creek, also known as Bay Point. If you've ever been there, it's a really crappy place. Houses are ramshackle and falling apart, homeless people are abound. A lot of people are very poor, and are stereotypically in gangs. These kids sound like two stupid kids from a Pittsburg high school that wanted to establish a reputation by robbing people.
Yeah, except most people assume that gangstas (or wannabes) don't use craigslist. It's like a happy place on the internet. It's like when something bad happens near children - always makes the news.
