latimesblogs.latimes.com — Remember Keith Olbermann? He was the one-time must-see anti-Bush ranter who helped rescue MSNBC (yes, it's still on at night) from even worse oblivion years ago.Well, quietly last month while no one was looking, hardly anyone was watching Keith Olbermann...

Yeah guys lets get rid of the liberals on television so we can have a perfect storm in the media like on 9/11 and the lead up to the war in Afghanistan when none of them were around. The right wing was in full force on television and sold us that f**king war. If Keith or Rachel were on television back then at least we would of seen the massive anti war protests. But no, I don't believe our beloved Fox News gave air time to this "grass roots" movement. It was belittled, called unpatriotic, and every other name in the book.

No one from the government forces people to watch or not watch. The people Olbermann is losing are mainstream viewers. Viewers, as a group, do not get permission from their party organizations to watch a show.

"Political points are like disagreeing with refs on calls. People are quick to point out the calls that go against their team, but overlook the calls that go against the other team."I think that's the smartest thing I've ever heard anyone comment on Digg.

The fact that everyone brings up Bill-o and other people at Fox News as his "equal opposite" shows how crazy and annoying he is. To me personally, he might be the richest person on earth "smugness was gold", but perhaps he's the 2nd, or 3rd richest to others. That still don't make him a likable person. The people that aren't on the extreme left don't see him as the good guy, no more than they see Bill O'Reilly as a good guy. It's like talking about Stalin vs. Hitler (Sorry, I know that's been overused a lot lately, but works so damn well). One might be slightly better than the other depending on your point of view, but the world would be better off without either one of them. As far as facts go, don't expect to get facts from TV news, especially when it involves politics. Take what they say with a grain of salt. Fox usually gets the blame for not telling the truth, and rightfully so, but they aren't the only ones. Just because one TV channel is "evil", don't expect the other ones to be "good". Each one of them is run by huge corporations and you can be damn sure they've got their own government ties and agendas going on all the time.

@bracomadar..... Here is how I see the whole bill-o/Keith thing I don't view them as equal opposites at all. Think of it like this. -10-0-+10 The middle would be well the middle. The further you get to -10 or +10 the more extreme you are to the left or right. Keith being at around -3 to at most -6 depending. bill-o hovers around 7 to 10. With 10 being his whole thing with tiller the baby killer. Yeah beck is a solid 10 down the board.. hannity 9 to 10. If you want to look at a closer to equal opposite to bill-o look at Ed.. He isnt an equal opposite but he does get much closer than Keith does. One other thing.. Keith doesn't just make up s**t to suit whatever he pleases.
