I agree. Most of the questions weren't that hard, but being able to recite the numbers of amendments pertaining to voting has nothing to do with citizenship; actually voting would be a mark of good citizenship. A test that asks questions about rights and responsibilities of citizens would be more appropriate than this one, which is mainly trivia.
I got 11/14.Really, this is a dumb thing for immigrants to do. In reality, no one really needs to know trivial facts like who wrote the Star Spangle Banner. In reality, it's much more important to know WHY it was written. Einstein said he never tried to remember facts, because that's what books are written for - to store facts. But then again, who's he? (a naturalized citizen, to boot)
Well I have a wife, a job, a house, two dogs, and a kid on the way. So right now I don't mind being a US Citizen. Actually the only thing it allows me to do that it did not before was vote. To go to college here, I had to register for the selective service.. Citizen or NOT!! So for now, I am happy, at least I can move to England if we get another Bush (Jeb) in office!!
I remember these questions. When you look into it, the test really isn't as hard as people make it out to be. I really think that everyone should be able to pass it, I did my first try and have been a citizen for a while now.
I think that's a statement of the failure of our educational system more than anything else. History becomes trivia and we spend more time teaching our kids how to put on condoms, etc.

He just got re-elected in 2006. They overwhelmingly chose to re-elect him.
