When I was doing my test here in Sweden I got among other this lovely little question.Q: Who faces the largest danger of getting seriously hurt in traffic?1) A 20 year old woman.2) A 30 year old woman.3) A 40 year old woman.4) A 50 year old womanI have absolutely no idea what the correct answer is, but it's not a 50 year old woman apparently.
legally, pedestrians don't always have the right of way, like if someone decided to cross a freeway. of course, pedestrians always have the right to sue.the question about following a fire truck was when the lights/sirens are NOT on. you always have to leave room in case they need to turn around or stop or something (like they do because they always reverse when parking in the fire station garages)and without anti-lock brakes, when you lock up your tires, it doesn't matter where you're steering, you skid in whichever direction your momentum is pointing. antilock brakes keep your wheels rolling and maintain their efficacy for steering...the question was pretty specific.
You missed the keyword in all of those answers: "woman". You were supposed to write in "all of the above".Sorry, ladies. I kid, I kid.
The "carpool lane" is a special lane that you can only drive if there are two or more people in the car. The idea is to encourage people to car-share and reduce congestion and pollution. They've started introducing them in the UK now, there's one up near Birmingham I believe.
