triplepundit.com — McDonald's could replace all its beef with beef-flavored seitan and NO ONE would notice the difference. McDonald's would save a fortune, health would be improved, and the carbon and resource footprint of McDonald's would be massively slashed.

Seitan is delicious, but McDonald's would still be a disgusting place to eat. The food is of some of the poorest quality known to man-- ingredients be damned, it'll still be s**tty quality. Again, though, seitan is delicious.

Personally I consider McDonald's food to be near bottom of the barrel, it is right above the gas station burger from AM/PMIt still amazes me that other countries think of McDonalds as a "taste of America", its no wonder they think were idiots. If I really want a burger, I'm going to In & Out, or the occasional Big Boy (and that is only because it reminds me of my childhood)

I'll gladly tear through a McDonalds Quarter Pounder (or Double QP, or Royale w/ Cheese). I wouldn't call it a great meal but it will do just fine when I'm short on time or money.
