Liberals sucked ass for Canada, The only reason our economy was booming during there period was because our dollar was so low compared to the Americans that it was worth doing industry here. The liberals did s**t for our country, just tried anyway possible to just make money. Harper and the conservatives might of not been doing the best job in power, but its still way more then what liberals did. I don't like Harpers conservative view on criminalizing pot,but i don't trust liberals. They lie, They completely f**ked up the Kyoto plan, and our health care system. As for political parties in Canada i am going to stick for Green party since the environment need major fixing up and cleaner environment means better health will follow, just as long as there responsible about keeping the economy strong. Making business's to become ecofriendly is good, making life hard on them and not giving rewards for being green is going to hurt the economy in the end.

Apology for the term conservative. Neocon would be more accurate. Just look at the bill they want to introduce. They want to give the power to the corporations, just like the DMCA did in the US.http://excesscopyright.blogspot.com/2007/04/cria-and-cmec-train-wreck.html

Saskatchewan started sweepit.ca in Februrary. Printers, TVs, laptops, desktops, and monitors all have a levy that isn't refundable when the item is dropped off for recycling. The monitors are about $12 extra, and printers about $8 more. It goes up to $45 for some TVs.

Those Canadians and their wacky politicians. One thing is for sure, the artists will not see very much, if any of that money. There are so many problems with this model, I don't even know where to begin.
