arstechnica.com— The Copyright Office sponsored a recent roundtable on the PRO-IP Act to talk about its proposed changes to the statutory damages formula. Do copyright owners need even more cash from lawsuits?

I have roughly 8,000+ MP3's both downloaded and ripped from numerous sources. Looks like I owe something like 12 billion dollars. Let me get my checkbook and.... wait, f**k off. You ain't gettin' s**t and you never will. You can take my cold hard cash out of my cold dead hands.... if you can find me. Na na na na nah na na
I'm just wondering who this money would go to should the RIAA actually win a case. I'm thinking the artist(s) wouldn't get a damn dime of it. I don't claim to know it all but really the artists should be grateful so many people listen to their music rather than how much money a song is going to make. In today's technological society there is just simply no room for the 'old ways' of doing things. The 'industry' needs to change to keep up with technology. CD's are kinda getting old anyway. It would be far more convenient to just sell an album digitally. From a personal standpoint I really only listen to personal music files while driving. I listen to Sirius Sat radio at home. I hope in the future car radios will just include a USB input that you can just plug your thumb drive into and listen away. I'm sure they probably have models out like that now but none that I've seen. Oh yah I almost forgot, f**k you RIAA!! Come and find me if you can :-P

Are you referring to my proper noun usage of "bush?" Yes it was necessary. Don't be an ass. Just bandwagon like everybody else on here.

Well if you want me to be an ass, I'd say a proper noun should be capitalised. Bush. :p
