That's probably one of my biggest pet peeves about OS X. Damn Airport menu taking 5 friggin seconds to open. Stalefries, you don't know how right you are.

@t0ny...wrong.@nonokiaboyA beta build I found in the depths of the Kismac website does work with Apple cards in passive mode, yes, but the Newsham attack no longer seems to work and I've never had any success with any of the other methods

I LOVE it - it ROCKS. http://www.tastyapps.com has some other cool stuff also.Thing about this is that it plugs directly into OS X / Airport which is COOL - not a sloppy 3rd party app.Every other app that i have seen that tries this does a really bad job. WiFind is DEFINITELY the best choice.

Excellent idea. This has been a missing feature from OSX. Really useful

i dont know about you guys but i think apple is just there to drain your walletfor windows you have netstumbler (free but sucks), and a billion other free scanners, one looks like a radar which i found was coollinux you have kismet (nothing compares, dont need anything else)also for linux airodump, aircrack, aireplay, airnort (outdated but works i guess):DMac crappy knock off of netstumbler and you have to PAY for it.
