I don't completely doubt you, but still, as a regular reader of Consumerist myself, I have to say prove it. You could infer the same thing about a dozen other sites: Ars Technica, Raw Story, Think Progress, etc. Perhaps they're popular because they're... popular? Again, not saying one way or another, but you have to back these things up.
17. Buy a new frame for your bike because your old one gave you blisters on your nutsack. Get something cool, even though steel frames are the most comfortable.18. Hobby Tsunami!
