I got a 2600 as a gift from a family friend (to the horror of my parents). It was the best ever. Tank, Asteroids, the driving game, and Space Invaders were pretty mind blowing at the time. The same friend got us Pac Man when it came out and it came with a free t-shirt. The shirt was pure 1981 4th grade bling. I'm pretty sure that was the pinnacle of my coolness. That was also the last console I ever owned. Have they changed much?
