A recent Quinnipiac poll showed Simmons and Dodd in a statistical tie, with both in the low 40s. Dodd has been dogged by a Senate ethics inquiry into a special mortgage program from Countrywide Financial.

Almost anyone is better than Chris Dodd.Hopefully Peter Schiff runs, he would be a great senator.
