That disease basically starts at your feet and gives you paralysis as it moves upwards towards your head, and it becomes problematic when it stifles the phrenic nerves that control your breathing...Now, that said, it usually reverses course and will go away a good portion of the time and you will return to normal, but I don't trust ANYTHING in the medical community that can be a precursor for something that can cause Gillian-Barre syndrome...
