"Did they? Convenient that it had the effect of disenfranchising voters who traditionally go Dem, ain't it? Hmmm?"More to the point, he bought a list of registered democrats and sent it to them. He did not send the letter to republicans. He also sent it on forged letterhead, copying an anti-immigrant outfit's logo. The republican party knows he did it and has asked him to resign. I really don't understand why people are defending this guy.
The guy sitting next to me right now is from India. He is here on a work visa and is not a citizen. His Tennessee driver's license looks almost exactly like mine.Try again.
you missed the "or you are an immigrant" part.if1) your residence in the United States is illegal or2) if you are an immigrantThere is seperated out for you so you won't miss the second half again.I added the 1) and 2) for you.
Busby's quote was deliberately taken out of context by her opponents. In California, it is perfectly legal to show up at the polls and to file a provisional ballot if you are not currently registered to vote. That ballot is later checked and verified in the same manner that pre-registration verification happens.Busby was trying to make the point that you do not need to be registered to vote in order to cast a vote on election day. She was informing voters of their legal right, one which many are ignorant of.

We should bait illegals in a big semi with beans and rice. I bet you could catch 5 or 10 illegals at a time.

It's important to note that thinkprogress is funded by the DNC.
