"There are reports that many people in nations such as China earn their entire salary by "gold-farming" in which they play the game solely to get gold which is then sold for real world money."IGE Price quote: FFXI Gil 50,000K - $1,440.53. /shakes head
(Cough)There is an Easy Simple Fix to keep Congress' grubby claws out of these places..Do what Scientology did. Turn them into Churches...The Church of WOW... Our Monks are loyal..except they need their mommies to bring Hot Pockets to eat..
this is utter garbage.do these robber barons ever get enough? the fact they repeat "we arent trying to tax virtual economies" so many times is practically admission they'd just love to, simply because they can.do you people realize your government is run by criminals?
That`s the problem, what some in the west are willing to pay for virtual goods is huge compared to wages in poor country. While 3$/h is ridiculous for north american, in some part of the world that kind of money can house an entire family.

You obviously haven't read about the guy who was accepted for a job because of his "competitiveness" in D2: LoD. He was 2nd or 3rd on the ladder.
