But lobbyists represent real people... -Hillary BS-- Sorta like how the president is "just a citizen"Lobbyists are like loudspeakers, amplifying the few over the many. They don't amplify the voices of " masses, they amplify the few who have money over the masses in order to overpower the will of the many with the will of the rich.Of the 13 presidential candidates on both sides of the aisle who have received money from lobbying firms and their employees, Romney ranks third, with $96,624 reported so far, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. Sens. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) and John McCain (R-Ariz.) were first and second, respectively.People who take money from lobbying firms are publicly but quietly stating their support for those special interests in order to get that money. So why do they think they will represent the people when they obviously give their support to those who feed them money?
Huh? The corporations are producing media and you are legally able to use any alternate forms of entertainment you want, and there are many alternative things you can do with your time ranging from commercial to free. Nobody, least of all the corporations, is forcing you to want or pirate their property.
I agree with GMorgan, corporotocracy is a word for people who don't understand the words already created for this:Fascism, and plutocracy. Fascism has nothing to do with corporations benefiting the state, it is the consolidation of corporate power by the state. Its about the means not the end. Corporatocracy is a bizarre word invented by anti-globalists so the average brain dead person can understand their agenda in a single sound-bite, without really thinking about what it means or who the messenger is. The word itself implies there is Us vs Them as the average person is not a corporation. Is this a bad thing? I don't know, but I think the existence of this word exemplifies the total lack of understanding society has about what fascism really is (beyond hitler).

"A bipartisan group of Congressmen (and one woman)..."I find it funny that they had to mention there was a woman.

You should take your own advice. And try not to oversimplify things so grossly to the point of being wrong.
