i would not consider the Wii to be in the same division as the 360/PS3 its a totally new market. I am not saying the wii is bad but the comparison should be 360 vs Ps3 and the wii is a new division of the gaming market, like handhelds were when they came out

Microsoft has to earn their reliability reputation. Releasing new chipsets and motherboards and claiming the problem solved won't cut it. There have been articles recently claiming ridiculously high failure ratings. Previous bandaid solutions to this problem have failed before. The Falcon setup will need a year of substantially better reliability before people will trust that the problem is truly solved.

FFs people the 360 reliability issue has had measures taken for it to be fixed over a year ago. The newer consoles have smaller chips and a much much less likely to have any problems.
