engadget.com— Copy and paste, data tethering, and now Flash -- it looks like the Pre's going to fill in a lot of unchecked iPhone feature boxes, doesn't it?

Nailed it. And the resulting Web sites reflect an ignorant approach fielded by hacks who might have hired a graphic artist to make the conference-room demo look good, but who can't put together a user interface worth a damn. You find these sites plaguing a lot of the less technical industries: hotels, restaurants, fashion, boutique retail. Sadly, a lot of these are the very kinds of sites that customers want to look at when they're on the move with a mobile device.
I'd like to say this will push Apple to release it for the iPhone, but we know you can't push them. They'll just start mocking us and pointing and laughing in our faces. Damn you, Apple.
The only thing I have ever wanted flash for on the iPhone is videos. This would be fixed if sites would just put video into something the iPhone can handle.

Flash is only on when you are on a flash page usually.
