autoblog.com — We've had rumors and spy shots before, but up until now we really didn't have any confirmation that Hyundai's new Tiburon replacement would switch from a pull-me to a push-me. With the new rwd platform that the company recently developed for its Genesis luxury sedan.

"the thing is you can't really put more than 250bhp through the front"Hello? 1970s Japan? Yeah, you can have your bulls**t back.

I should add that the FWD powerslide that I describe is probably extremely dangerous, maybe even more so than a classic RWD powerslide attempted on pavement. You get VERY committed to it VERY fast If you chicken out and back off the throttle you'll understeer and smash into something at a higher speed, while if you use too much throttle you'll oversteer and have NO WAY OUT (corrective steering when you're already beyond the traction of all four tires is kinda iffy).Oh, and it eats tires like there's no tomorrow.

It better have a turbo!! As long as Kaaz makes a LSD and Tein or Cusco makes coilovers for it, it's all good! I wonder if they will sponsor some drivers too?

xcursedx...You are one of the few intelligent commenter's I've seen here at Digg. The U.S. is in big trouble and I couldn't agree with you more. Its too bad that when people see Mortgage Lenders going under and making front pages at Digg that people don't add up whats happening here in the U.S. American car companies are making equal Quality vehicles to foreign but no ones looking. The foreign car market has had the single biggest effect on our economy than in other item in the history of our country. Most of these people have no clue anymore of how the U.S. auto companies has transformed their products Quality. GM 100,000 mile warranties, Chrysler Lifetime warranty. No one in their right mind could do this without having Quality and Consumers as the first priority. I can't even image that Hyundai made over $11 billion last year and its a relativity new car company. So sad no trust.

i like how people actually think Hyundai is competition against Toyota. Hyundai succeeded only because its supporters are so nationalistic they buy ONLY their own country's goods no matter what quality it. Now it is decent quality.

it probably won't need a turbo from the factory with the v6 stepping up to a 3.8L and putting out nearly 300 hp in the next few years.
