tuaw.com — $9.99 for an hour long show and $1.99 for under 15 minute clips? Looks like part of the deal to get NBC on board was to allow ridiculous prices for Conan O'Brien's content. So far, it's the only thing I"ve seen listed like this, but it's the first fluctuation from the $1.99 price point.

I was wondering the same thing, only reason I see is it's based off DVDs not Conans night shows. This is still bull crap. $4.99 a dvd at the most expecially since you can't burn it to a DVD.

What's with all the Conan-haters? Damn! He's the funniest guy on late night. The price is high, but there's absolutely no way he was involved with this decision.

Lets see, night out at a blockbuster movie was expensive, this is insane!!!

http://www.latenighttorrents.com/forum/once again, a company forces fans to find a free version when people would be happy to pay a FAIR price.

If people are prepared to pay that sort of price then why not? I suspect that people are not and so the producers will reduce the price until a sweet spot is reached where volume*price is optimal. Consumers still have a choice and no one is strong arming anyone into buying there show.

im pretty sure the price is based on the fact that its out on dvd
