mediadecoder.blogs.nytimes.com — NBC's Conan O'Brien says he will not do "The Tonight Show" at 12:05 a.m. "I cannot express in words how much I enjoy hosting this program and what an enormous personal disappointment it is for me to consider losing it."

"You could perhaps spin that everyone is tuning in earlier to just watch Leno. " Thats not spin, thats FACT. Previous tonight show fans turned in to Leno and when the show ended they said, "well , i got my does of the tonight show, time to go to bed!" without realizing that Leno is not doing the tonight show....or they did and just didnt care because he was familiar and they decided to not even give the new tonight show a chance.LENO f**ked this up, pure and simple. He could walk away right now and Conan would do GREAT at the normal time slot but NO, Leno still has a few years worth of COMPLETE GARBAGE comedy to do.

I like Fallon's rehearsed stuff. I like his acting and his impressions. He's just a little too nervous being himself, except when he's interviewing someone he already has a rapport with like Alec Baldwin. Give him time though.

Oh, but there's nothing as entertaining as the days I spent in Rome as a young boy. There was a great coliseum where men battled men and beasts. One time they even filled that bitch with water, 2 war ships.... totally f**ked s**t up. True story, bro.
