T.O. seems to have an amazing recollection of the arrangement and placement of the bottles and medication, yet says police overestimated his coherence when they were asking if he tried to harm himself. If he was so out of it to not really know what was being said to him, I don't think he would remember some things with such clarity.
Well, he takes a lot of suplements and in doing so, probably has a habit of separating his medicine in a certain way. I know I have a systematic way of doing things, something that you never forget. I don't believe he tried to kill himself with pain killers. It's entirely plausible that he took the wrong combination of drugs, for him, and in turn was rendered out of his normal mental and physical state.I vaguely remember when I was in my car accident and had to answer questions while I was in traction, being rushed to the hospital in an ambulance with the sirens blaring. For one, you can't hear the questions being asked of you. Second, you may not fully comprehend simple 'yes'/'no' questions or flip the answers, knowing full-well what you meant. People are quick to judge a person like T.O. negatively, but I'm more inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt. Also, I'm a Philadelphian... I don't have to defend him, I just choose to :)

For those interested, there is also a transcript of the press conference available here (I had to TinyURL it): http://tinyurl.com/f95xz
