I believe Tversity will actually transcode the content, that's why you need a powerful PC. I guess generally you wouldn't need to worry about the speed of your network since most users will have the PS3 connected directly to their computer through 10Mb Ethernet.It's a shame there is no SAMBA on the PS3. (maybe XBMC on the ps3 could work).
