It's pretty odd that Fox News had arguably the best coverage on the day.

"All scholars and expert who have analyzed the evidence believe the official account."Wrong. Bzzzt. Penalty. And do you really think the public is so stupid as to believe that?Looking at many of your comments I can see your problem. ShillDexter, do us a favor and check the particle beam centering for the LHC, from the inside.

Okay, so we both agree that Danny Jawenko is an expert. Now:1) You only link to that clip because an earlier one from the same show shows him shooting down any possibility of the Twin Towers being downed by controlled demolition. Why didn't you provide that link?2) Even your video admits that Jowenko had never before even heard of WTC 7. Do you think it might have been a better idea to first provide him with something like the NIST draft on what happened to WTC 7 before asking for his expert opinion?"Did you ever read the NIST Report? It doesn't give any explanation for Building 7 at all! "Yep. Wanna know why it doesn't give an explanation? Because, like real scientists, they were still collecting data before coming to a conclusion (i.e. the opposite of what "truthers" do). "The last I heard is that they are contemplating explosives because it is the only thing that makes sense."Complete and utter bulls**t. They have never claimed this. In fact, a report is due this summer that, according to press briefings, will explain how structural damage due to one of the falling twin towers completely accounts for what occurred that day. "You want me to "prove" the dumbest s**t. "Yep, like your theory. Damndest thing, right?"If you honestly think that a 110 story skyscraper could collapse in on itself in less than 16 seconds, driven entirely by gravity then you are hopeless."You still haven't explained why this is hopeless. From a physical standpoint, what's impossible? Answer with the "it just is!" from earlier posts. Thanks."No, there was no single elevator shaft that could have allowed the explosion to have traveled all the way down from the plane impact zone to the basement."You say this... but NIST disagrees. In fact, they claim (though I'm sure they're "lying!" too, right?) that the planes, when they cut through the central cores, dropped fuel down elevator shafts that caused small fires in the lobbies and the basement of WTC 1 and 2. This also occurred when the Empire State Building was struck by a small plane in 1945.In summary... you've proven nothing, I've shown you to be wrong time and time again, and you revert to "It just is!" anytime I post something that you cannot refute. What do you think of your own demolitions expert saying WTC 1 and 2 could have "definitely" collapsed under their own weight?

Isn't saying "Hey! I like this!" part of discourse?

f**k you, jackass. It DOESN'T make 9/11 better, but to pretend our 3000 are anywhere NEAR the destruction around the world is laughable. Then the destruction we sowed on innocent people for it?You are too f**king dumb for digg, so go enlist douchebag.

Ummm I'm pretty sure no plane flew into WTC7 buddy, they still haven't figured out why it came down.? Do your research before you comment, thanks.

Revisiting this thread for my own well being, nothing more (spent a lot of time in those towers).I was awake for the story after the first plane had hit. My kids called me out to the TV. When the second plane initially hit, I thought it was a replay, but then realized the other tower was still smoking. It was a surreal experience that I am sure several on air people shared. It was as if I couldn't be seeing what I saw.The overwhelming experience of that time cannot be explained. I fault no one for misreporting, misinterpreting. It is only the Monday morning quarterbacks, desperate to sift through human tragedy for any glimmer of error, that take those moments at face value, and only for their own self interest. All these years later, I can still vividly see the second plane. It will live with me forever. But at the time, it was a bad replay.Wow, 7 years and it still hurts.

Thank you for suggesting this site. I think I could still easily get sucked in to watching the news reports for hours even this many years later. I noticed for the most part reporters were reaching and guessing just like we all were and show a vulnerable side that normally isn't seen. I imagine these 24 hour news channels had to constantly scramble to find people to interview....people who knew something....anything.....even those with 6 degrees of separation from a lawyer in Utah, who knew of a guy, who flew in a plane last week to NY....close to the towers.....and was lucky it wasn't this week...... But, I get it - it helped people to see people talk about it and to keep the nation involved in something that was too big for us to swallow. Normally, the news pulls on my nerves. But I remember the coverage for 3 or 4 days was helpful in feeding my need to know SOMETHING. Thanks again for the site suggestion.
