dev.compiz-fusion.org — For those watching Compiz-Fusion recently, many folks have been waiting for quite a while for there to be a plugin to replace the cube with a sphere. We got a cylinder, and then a deformed cylinder, and finally the developers have put the code for a sphere together! Thanks onestone! [Please note that this is in the development version only.]

there are a couple of projects that do that. I tried SphereXP but im sure you can find better ones.

"sudo compiz --replace" haha right..Running Ubuntu does not make you an expert on anything nickertr0n, neither does being able to use CCSM or have your computer using the default settings. Compiz is not a toolset, it is a composite window manager, and does indeed have to sit on top of XGL or xorg with AIGLX, which I'm sure you know all about. I'm not an expert myself, but I think it's safe to say you are an idiot. Be quiet.

I don't like the idea of spinning a ball around when doing comp work.
