tomdryer.com — An excellent feature of Beryl was the tray icon that allowed users to easily switch window managers and decorators. A similar icon for Compiz Fusion is now available but is not included in most repositories.

I agree that 64bits should be more widely supported... I have recently switched back to i386 due to the lack of a native flash plugin and a broken compiz-fusion. Now running i386 I find very little change with regard to speed with the exception of compiz-fusion, which is now running smoother and more stable than what it was in AMD64.Now all I want is konqueror to load a bunch of plugins that made firefox useful... ergo: flash, noscript, fasterfox, tabmix, etc.

You can also get it from nesl's repo (though it only takes like 5 seconds to build yourself anyway).[compiz-fusion]Server = http://arch.nesl247.org/compiz-fusion/i686

I have 64 bit running and my only problems are Pidgin and Flash. Everything else works fine.

dugg for having a good point. just because you can run the 64bit version and it _mostly_ works doesn't really sound like a good promotional point.

Archlinux has it in its repos... well, in an unofficial one.
