Perfect for mouth-breathing losers who want to watch their desktop twirl and spin in a circle. Perfect for those that are easily distracted by flashing lights. Ooooh! Look at all the pretty colors! Look at my desktop move around! OMG!!
I almost never have any problems. When I do, it's usually an X restart or a reboot from being fixed. There's been one release since the first official that I found too buggy to use, but the next build fixed all the problems.

Compiz Fusion is already pretty cool, in my opinion, but it's stability is absolutely terrible.

Whats funny is that you are probably not aware that the new dock and the new spaces feature in OS X 10.5 have been available on Linux/Unix for years and were designed by Open Source projects similar to Compiz Fusion. Borrowing a handful of effects from a company that borrowed your ideas is hardly "playing the catch-up game"<a class="user" href="http://www.sun.com/software/looking_glass/details.xml">http://www.sun.com/software/looking_glass/details.xml</a><a class="user" href="http://forums.appleinsider.com/archive/index.php/t-37951.html">http://forums.appleinsider.com/archive/index.php/t-37951.html</a>
