@roxgod666I was responding to the comment that "Newegg can't be beat".If you do not have a retail store nearby with decent prices, Newegg is the only way to go.I am just sick of the comments trashing the new CompUSA without any evidence.The new store has passed my test.1. They had a better price then any other local retailer.2. They accepted a return, no questions asked. No hassles.3. They had exactly what I needed in an emergency situation (dead PSU on boss's computer).I love Newegg and have ordered thousands of dollars worth of supplies from them. I also appreciate the convenience of going to a retail store to buy the same thing for either close to or better than the Newegg price.

I used to work there back in 2006. Let me say first off that it sucked major balls. But regarding the phones, I don't know how the other stores did it, but we would just turn the volume on the ringer down all the way so we wouldn't hear the damn thing ring anymore. Then it would automatically send them to the automated thing after a few rings.

Completely different company that bought the rights to the name!Someone bought the rights to compusa.com before the old chain announced it was closing. That company has existed as an internet only retailer ever since. It looks like that company may have sold the name again to someone who is delusional enough to jump back into brick and mortar stores, at least for a while! In the end, there is no doubt in my mind that the name will eventually go back to internet only!
