cnn.com — You'll dismiss this as old news and find some way to excuse it as repothug whinning but it is a clear example of what we can expect January 20 when he officially becomes KING.Wednesday night Barack Obama will be on five different TV networks speaking directly to the American people and spend millions simply because he can.

The ironic thing is, you are also a "media parrot." And not everybody in their life is exposed to the fundamentals of f**king Marxism and facism. It's 2-thousand-f**king-8.

Dave, it's a good thing this world has skeptics, otherwise we'd all still believe in the tooth fairy and the Easter bunny. But a skeptic can only go so far without backing up their claim with evidence. I think the time to back up your skepticism is now.I'm challenging you to find a case where Obama took money from a lobby group. Spend 20 minutes on google, and if you find a specific case - post the link.

That's an interesting article. So Obama doesn't accept money from federal lobby groups, but he can take money from state lobby groups. The first thing that comes to my mind is that since Obama is running for a federal office, where's the conflict in working with state lobby groups? In fact, Obama has said just that:"Because I have no power in this state, I'm not influenced in any way by somebody who's lobbying at the state level,” [Obama] told NBC's Sacramento affiliate in August. “The main thing that we're trying to avoid is any perception that somehow those who are doing business in Washington have an influence on my agenda."I would argue that the original goal has still been met. No one can buy influence over Obama through campaign donations - which is the goal of public campaign finance too. That being said, the area is a little grey and I can see how someone like you might see it the other way.

you don't think that state groups can have influence over a federal office? I work for an organization that is technically a state organization and I can tell you for a fact that we lobby to federal politicians - and we don't do it out of the kindness of our hearts.

Over 4 years in congress only gets 1 bill passed into law that was in 2006,so with all the things he plans to do will never get done. His record speaks for himself....

No, he was facing 5 years in prison for using public financing as collateral for a loan and threatening to back out of it. Anything else is utter bulls**t. McCain can't say s**t.

This is utter nonsense. There was no "promise", no "pledge". He said he'd CONSIDER it. You people are dumb.
