To that, add the loses from the power adapter, and other loses, and you'll get, if you are very lucky, 50% of the energy consumed to actually power your laptop.So for a laptop that consumes 60Wh, you'd need to use 120Wh (possibly more if you want to both charge the battery and use the laptop at the same time).So no, thanks, I'd rather use a cord.

I agree, and it's still very early in the adaption of this technology, so I'm sure the efficiency problems will be worked out.
