This is a good idea. Maybe with some concrete evidence of global warming some of the fools will take their heads out of the sand and quit shouting that it doesn't exist. They don't want it to exist because then we would have to do something about it, and that would mean sacrifices for them. And they don't want to get rid of their 11mpg SUV, so global warming doesn't exist.
what's next, a segment during the weather report that gives you a color for the global warming alarm level."Today it will be sunny, 85 degrees, with winds from the Northwest. The allergy, homeland security, and global warming levels are all orange today... so stay indoors, don't drive a car or use an airconditioner, and make sure you avoid any flights to New York."Sure we have to be responsible, and our government needs to look at developing alternate ways to do things, we are. We for sure don't need to be paranoid about things that are very unlikely to end the world today or tomorrow. Doing research to find alternate energy sources, yes. Spending a bunch of money to build an alarm system that we can't do anything specific even if it does go off, no.
In the 80's we were being warned of the next ice age.I don't trust the people pushing gobal warming."Vote for me! I'll fix something I can't possable control."
Honestly, people have died on multiple occasions throughout Mankind's history. So, a few more people die or don't die...just means we'll see new faces in town. I don't see why we have to start a murder investigation just because Sharon Tate was found dead with several holes in her body and a rope tied around her neck. I bet this was just natural causes. Yeah, that's it...natural causes.
I have lived in Denver for the past 23 years and this is the worst summer (as far as heat) and the worst winter (as far as snow) that I have ever seen. I don’t think global warming only causes increased temperatures, but overall changes in the weather, thus the heavy snow storms. I don’t think anyone should have a problem with this research; it will only help us in the end!
