It's really refreshing to see something positive about Colombia every once in a while. As a Colombian living in the US, I always find myself correcting people that the violence and the drug cartels are not as predominant as they used to be and that Colombia is a really safe place to go visit. I highly recommend visiting Cartagena and San Andres if you like the beach. Cartagena is quite unique due to its colonial architecture, it is one of my favorite cities. The people are friendly and love to party, and it is true that Colombian girls are quite very pretty.

Colombia is definitely on our list of destinations to visit! Especially want to see Cartagena and Bogota!

I was there 1.5 months and never had problem with anything. You can get robbed anywhere. Its not like USA is more safe.
