"The artificial blood is a white emulsion of fluorinated hydrocarbons dispersed in water and surfactants"Whoa! It's just like the synthetics from Aliens XD
"The key to the artificial blood is a fluorinated hydrocarbon that can carry more oxygen than real blood."how long before artificial blood is being used to cheat in sports?
Good point. They already use EPO for cyclists to carry more oxygen, funny thing is it is legal as a regular-use item, basically just a blood expander with albumen in it, but illegal if you are competing in a sport. I bet this stuff will be a new "hot item" for long-distance competitions.
