muslimmatters.org — This brave man, probably one of the few respectable and upright individuals who served in the Bush Administration has spoke up for all Muslims. He did Campbell one better, by touching the souls and hearts of all fair-minded Americans."Well, the correct answer is, he is not a Muslim, he?s a Christian. But the really right answer is, what if he is?"

bismillah. there is no doubt that when he was the mouthpiece of Bush Administration foreign policy, he towed the line and is as responsible as anyone then at the White House for every American, Coalition, and Iraqi life lost needlessly in the war. but the man who once swore that Saddam Hussein had to be hiding WMD's has spoken honestly and honorably in his endorsement of Obama. and whatever his motives, what he has said should be commended.

Colin Powell calls it like he sees it. This republican fear mongering machine against Muslims needs to end. They are integral to our society and to the global community. We need to stop trying to demonize people!

Powell's words need to be spread far and wide. Even the Obama campaign couldn't say it so. He deserves props, even if he has some skeletons in his closet. There is never a wrong time to appreciate truth!
