i was going to laugh at the people replying to you for not getting your obvious sarcasm, but then i looked at your other comments. You really are that crazy.
It was the "lesson plan" that the Repubs had the big issue with. We certainly don't want children thinking about ways to do better in school just to make their country more economically competitive!It would be easy to conclude that they just want to keep our populace poorly educated, or that they want to keep the rags-to-riches stories to a minimum (to protect the already rich), but I think they've just become so accustomed to being enraged about *everything* that outrage is the only way they know to communicate.
